A Salt Water Aquarium Is Coming To Alpine.

Alpine will be welcoming some new friends soon, salt water tropical fish to be exact. A hundred gallon aquarium with salt water tropical fish ( think Nemo ) will be added to the Alpine home. It has been shown that watching an aquarium can have a relaxing effect on people especially the elderly. Also there have been studies indicating that resident’s with Dementia or Alzheimer’s eat better while watching the fish swim in the aquarium. It will be located in the dining room where the resident’s also partake in many activities. Hopefully this will be done sometimes in the spring.
