Visitation Outdoors Beginning July 15, 2020
The Alpine Nursing Home will be allowing families to schedule visitation through the activities department starting Wednesday, July 15th. Visits will only occur outdoors with a protective visitation cube to help protect the residents from accidental exposure.

There will be a limit to how many people can schedule visits each day so that there can be time to clean and disinfect the visitation area and set the next resident up for a visit.
Zoom Meetings Still Encouraged
Zoom meetings will also still be encouraged since via Zoom residents can communicate more easily without a mask on and without a mask on their loved ones.

Book In Advance for in Person Visits
All in person visits will require booking a time in advance, a medical screening process of both questions and temperature taking and will be limited to two family members per visit who must wear appropriate masks, preferably the same two family members which also reduces the risk for unintentional resident exposure.
Many visits have been booked for the first two weeks. We hope everyone can be patient with us during the first couple of weeks as times slots fill up quickly.
We are doing everything we can to get the family members vital to the resident’s care & health in for a visit ASAP; however, we must follow our policies and booking times allotted. Each time slot is for 20 minutes long.

Finally, we have taken every precaution to maintain a clean and safe environment, and we strive to preserve it that way for everyone.
